SAILING CLUB
OTAHUHU CLUB'S OFFICERS. The report presented at the annual meeting of the Otahuhu Sailing Club stated that in spite of unfavourable weather conditions, the club carried out a full programme of races duriug the season. The prospects for tho 1937-3S season were very bright, no fewer than nine boats having recently been added to the. club' 6 register. The statement of accounts showed a small credit balance. The following officers were elected:—President. Mr. T. Clements; vice-president. Sir Ernest Davis; commodore, Mr. C. Castle; vicecommodore, Mr. L. Graham; secretary, Mr. H. Gillies; treasurer. Mr. E. Edmonds; hon. auditor, Mr. H. Fearnley; clubhouso steward, Mr. L. Reid; delegates to the Auckland Yacht and Motor-Boat Association, Messrs. L. Reid, C. Castles; committee, Messrs. W. J. Parkinson, L. Reid, G. Fearnley. A. Kingsford, R. McDell, N. Clark, F. Fugel; handicappers, Messrs. W. R. Parkinson, "W. Everitt, H. Fearnley. Messrs. W. R. Parkinson and J. Morgan wero elected life members.
