Mrs. B. deary-Taylor, of Gisborne, who has been spending a few days in Auckland, left yesterday to visit liotorua.

Mrs. Montague Policy, accompanied by her husband, Captain Montague Polley, will leave for England by the Rangitano on Thursday.

Miss Allison Mason anil her cousin, M iss Minnie Collier, of Home Bay, returned by the Mariposa after an extended holiday in Australia.

Mrs. James Paterson, of Richmond Downs, Morrinsville, will arrive in Auckland on Friday for a brief visit and will be the guest of Mrs. M. W. Paterson, St. Stephen's Avenue, Parnell.

Among the guests at the Royal Hotel arc Miss J. Skellerup (Christchurch), Miss L. Godfrey (Hawera), Miss F. Parks (Te Awamutu), Mrs. C. Gracff (To Aroha), Mrs. H. Irvine (Paeroa) and Mrs. K. Stephens (Otorolianga).

Miss Norah Noonan, who has been absent from New Zealand for 12 years, most of which time she has spent in South Africa and England, returned to Auckland yesterday by the Mariposa. Miss Noonan is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Noonan, of Kohimarama.
