THE WOBLD'S PLAYEES LEADING EXPONENTS TIMES' LIST OF RANKINGS LONDON. Sept. 10 The Times publishes the following tennis rankings:—Budge, ven Cramm, Austin, Henkel, Parker, Grant, McGrath, Bromwich, Crawford and Ripe*. It adds that Budge, in a weaker field, is as outstanding a champion as his predecessors, and von Cramm ij closer to him than to Perry.

VISITS TO AUSTRALIA AMERICANS AND GERMANS (Received September 20, 10.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 20 The American tennis players. Budge, Mako and Parker, will leave Los Angeles for Australia on November 10 and arrive at Sydney on November 20. They will depart for America again on February J. TE AWAMUTU CLUB [ FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT | TE AWAMUTU, Monday At the annual meeting of the Te Awnmutu Lawn Tennis Club the retiring president. Mr. V. A. dc Coek, referred to the success of the club in tournament play last season, and also to the fact that Sunday play, although agreed to unanimously by the club, was vetoed unanimously by the Domain Board. The. club must now pursue a definite policy to secure its own courts at some later date. However, .CTo was being spent this season on necessary repairs. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. S. Clark; president., Mr. G. Wright Fulton; vice-presi-dents. Mrs. S. Clark, Messrs. V. A. de Coek and F. Miller; secretary, Mr. D. Steer; treasurer.
