A SPORTS MINISTER
Sir, —The time seems to have como for the appointment of a Sports Minister. This Government has taken a wise step in forming a sports council. Let it take a step forward and take up my suggestion. The Springboks have been such a brilliant success and been the means of causing hundreds of thousands of pounds to bo circulated among the people as well as considerable amounts for the Government. A Ministor could devote his time to inviting „the best in every form of sport here. It would bring overseas visitors into the country and add to the country's prosperity and popularity by many thousands of pounds. Spokt.
