MODERN NEW BLOCK PROGRESS OF CONSTRUCTION Good progress has been made with the construction of a new block , buildings at tbe Brixton .Road School at Balmoral, and it is expected tl^ 6 the new classrooms will be ready i° r occupation soon aitter the children return to school next week. Several 0 ' the latest advances in school planning have been incorporated into tn"> block. . ■ One wall of each of the three larg® classrooms consists of large glass foW" ing doors and, as these face nort&i they can be kept open for a large P° r * tion of the school year, so that classed will be held in almost open-air ccmcn" tions. A wide verandah runs rigns along this north wall. The _ windows on the southern side ott building have been placed fairly nig » so that any draught which pasthrough the room will be well abo the heads of the young children.
