LATE DR. PATERSON

EDUCATION BOARD TRIBUTE A tribute to,the late Dr. Ada Paterson, Director of School Hygiene, whose death occurred recently, was paid by members of the Auckland - Education Board at yesterday's meeting. "Dr. Paterson did outstanding work in her department," said the chairman, Mr. T. U. Wells. "She impressed ill with whom she came in contact with her ability and knowledge, and with her sympathy for the children." Dr. Paterson had also shown a very genuine desire to advance the cause of hygiene and health in schools. The board decided to express its sympathy with Dr. Paterson's relatives, and members stood as a mark of respect.
