No advice has been received from the Union Company's steamer Kairanga, duo here to-morrow from Sydney. The Alexander sailed from Nelson yesterday for Onchungy, where she is due to-morrow morning. She will leave on her return during the day On her arrival from Whangarei yesterday morning the Northern Company's steamer Claymore moved to the Harbour Board slipway for inspection. Two vessels will leave Greymoutli for Auckland to-night and arrive on Monday morning. They lire the "Union Company's motor ship Karu and the steamer Kaimiro. Rough weather prevented the Watchlin Line motor-ship Port Whangarei from entering Tiuranga on her voyage from Wellington to Auckland, and the vessel arrived hero yesterday afternoon, a day early. She is al King's Wharf. THE PORT ADELAIDE Tho Port Line steamer Port Adelaide, which left Wellington for Auckland on Tuesday evening, advised yesterday that she was being delayed by rough weather. She should arrive this afternoon, berthing at King's Wharf to complete loading for London.

ARDENVOHR REPORTS The motor-ship Ardenvohr, from Montreal, advised by wireless yesterday that she would arrive here at four o'clock to-morrow after j noon. TORNUS IN PORT With petrol from San Francisco, the motor-tanker Tornns arrived in the stream last nisht. She will berth at Western Wharf this morning. GOSLAR FOR BRISBANE The North German Lloyd steamer Gos'.ar, which is discharging Gulf of Mexico cargo at King's Wharf, will now sai'i for Brisbane at noon on Saturday. THE TANKER HAVKONGOn her maiden voyage, the Norwegian Havkong was expected to leave San Francisco yesterday for Auckland, where she is due about September 21. THE EMPIRE STAR. The Blue Star Line motor-ship Empire Star will sail for London, via Cape Horn, at noon to-day. She is completing loading at Queen's Wharf. THE PORT BRISBANE Further advice from the Port Line steamer Port Brisbane, en route from New York to Auckland, stated she will arrive at fojir o'clock to-morrow morning. WAIRUNA'S ADVICE Wireless advice received yesterday from the Union Company's Wairuna, en route from the Pacific Coast, via Papeete, to Auckland, stated that she would arrive here at six o'clock to-morrow morning. THE NORTHUMBERLAND The Federal Line steamer Northumber-, land is expected to leave Waikokopu to-day tor Auckland, where she is due to-morrow evening to complete loading for Southampton, London, Hull and Newcastle. SUGAR FROM JAVA Two ships have been chartered to load sujrar at Java for Auckland, but their loading and arrival dates have not yet been announced. They are the steamer Antiope and the motor-ship Spr.ini?bank. NIAGARA ON MONDAY The Canadian Australasian liner Niagara will leave Sydney for Auckland this afternoon and will arrive here on Monday morning-. She will sail at 11 o'clock on Tuesday morning for Vancouver, via ports. MARIPOSA TO-MORROW With 431 through passengers and 149 passengers for Auckland, the Matson linei Mariposa will arrive from San Francisco, via ports, at seven o'clock to-morrow morning. She will sail for Sydney at 10 o'clock to-morrow night. THE CITY OF GLASGOW The steamer City of Glasgow arrived at Napier yesterday afternoon from Wellington. She will leave to-night for Auckland, where she is now due on • Saturday morning to complete loading for New York, Boston end Montreal. THE LINER RANGITANE After a rough voyage from Wellington the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Kangitane arrived yesterday afternoon and berthed at Princes Wharf -to complete discharge of London cargo. She should complex about Tuesday and she will then load at Napier, Wellington and Auckland, returning here on September 17. The Rangitane wilt leave Auckland for London, via Panama, on September 23. PASSENGERS FROM ENGLAND A large number of passengers for New Zealand is carried by the Orient liner Ormonde, which left London on August 14 for Australia.
