ATHENIAN CLUB
ENTERTAINING PROGRAMME "Cherry Blossom Time" vrns the theme of the meeting of the Athenian Club on Saturday night, at which the host hnd hostess were Mr. and Mrs. Nigel White. The beautifully decorated stage made an appropriate setting for the song "One Fine Day," from "Madam Butterfly," sung by Miss Winifred Hill. Assisting with the programme were the National Four (Misses L. Woods, B. Smith, Messrs. Lambert Harvey and Duncan Black), Miss Madge Taylor, Miss Lilian Kennedy, Mr. Stewart Harvey, Mr. H. Donaldson, and the St. James Salon Quartette (Misses Helen Gray, K. O'Learv. Moya Cooper-Smith and Jean Clarkson). Guests of honour were' Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. It. B.
