The semi-final for the J, S. "Woolley troDhy and a further round for the F. H. Cowantrophy were fired last evening by members of the Whangarei Miniature Rifle Club.- A'self-.' handicap shoot also was held, the evening's trophy being won b.v M. K. Stewart with a* score of 96, 3 —90. Other good scores were: M. Hore, 92, 7—00; R.. Titzgibbon, 09, 2—lol (revised score 98); R. Jennings. 9S, 4 - 3—lol (OS); L. Holmes, 96, 2—OS; A. J, Ching, 94, 4—93;. F. H. ,Cowan,, 91, 7—9S: A. Higgins, 96, 1—97; R. Massdy, 91, 5—96.
