COMMERCE TRAIN PLAN

' Provided the Auckland Chamber of Commerce can promise the Railway Department 60 passengers, a special "commerce train" is to be run in October over the Main Trunk and Taranaki lines to give members an opportunity ol making contacts with country organisations and business men. Information sent to the council of the chamber yesterday stated that the train would leave Auckland on October ] and go to New Plymouth, via Tauniarunui and Okahukura, then on to Wa-n-ranui and Palmerston North, returniiK' to Auckland by the Mam Trunk line on October 8 or 9. A distance of SO7 miles would be covered by the tour.
