CHAIRMAN RE-ELECTED
THE TRANSPORT BOARD The chairman of the Auckland Transport Board, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason, and the deputy-chairman, the Hon. F. E. Lark, M.L.C., were re-elected at the annual meeting yesterday. Mr. Mason's emolument as chairman was fixed at £3OO for the year. Mr. Mason paid a tribute to the loyalty and unfailing help of Mr. Lark during the past year. With his cooperation, and that of other members of the board, he said, affairs had run smoothly, and the work of the chairman was made a great deal easier.
