VILLAGE ROMANCE
"Life's Little Day," by Dorothy Black, is a -pleasant story of village life, and it begins and ends with tho local flower show and fair, although a great deal happens between tho first and tho second festival. There is,nothing sensational about tho plot, although tho local parson does tackle an escaping lion from tho fair, but the romance and tlio pictures of the village worthies —Saul is a fine fellow—are well portrayed. "Life's Little Day," by Dorothy Black. (Hutchinson.)
