J. NIVEN AND COMPANY IMPROVEMENT IN RESULTS A rise of £2135 in net profit to £12,378, is shown in the accounts of J. ,1. Niven and Company, Limited,, manufacturing engineers and merchants, for the year ended March 31. A dividend of Is a,.share, against 8d last vcar, is recommended, and from the profits £3OOO will be placed to rreneral reserve. A sum of £II,OOO was set aside for land and income tax. Tho dividend is equal to 5.85 per cent, against 3.9 per cent in tho previous two years.
