RECEPTION IN LONDON

LONDON, June 12 About 400 New Zealanders —men and women—greatly enjoyed this week's afternoon reception arranged by the New Zealand Women's Association. One of the largest rooms at Grosverior House, Park Lane, was allotted, so that people could move freely without crowding. The guests were received by Mrs. J. AfcNab Christie (vice-president) and other members of the committee. Lady 33iedisloe found many friends, as also did Lady Godley. New Zealanders present included: Mrs. Jordan, the Hon. W. Nash, Airs. Nash, the Hon. Eliot Davis, Airs. Davis, Lady Bankart, Sir A. and Lady Herdman, Sir James Parr, Mr. and Airs. D. F. Reid, Mr. and Airs. Robert Alill, Air. and Airs. Denny Brown, Air. and Airs. Dcnnehy, the Hon. J. A. Hanan and Airs. Hanan.
