MALA CASE VERDICT, (Received June 80, 7.45 p.m.) . SYDNEY. June SO The case was concluded to-day in which Mr. Henry Edgar Russell, owner,' proceeded in tho Supreme Court, Sydney, against the Commissioner of Road Transport and Tramways to recover £2OOO damages owing to injuries to the racing colt Mala- when it was struck by a tramcar at Randwick on Derbv morning, October 3, 1936.

The jury returned a verdict in favour of plaintiff and awarded him £ISOO damages. A stay of proceedings was granted.
