SEVEN PETITIONS GRANTED

Seven undefended divorce petitions were granted by Mr. Justice Reed in the Supreme Court yesterday. In describing how she came to leave a, flat in which she had been living with her husband, George Eeelestone, at Thames in 1926, Emma Barran Ecclestone (Mr. Nutsford) said her husband became rather Uoo familiar with the landlady. She said they were married in AVcllington in April, 1920. Her husband had no settled occupation, and for 12 months prior to November, 1926, he started to get into debt, bho was at work all the time, and her savings had to go to pay his debts He agreed to go, and she had lost all trace of him since 1929. A decree nisi was n ; s j M . as granted to Pearl Christina Brown (Mr. Elwartli) against John Arthur Brown on the ground of his desertion of her since Maich, LMI. On the ground of separation existing for more than three years, decrees nisi were issued in the following eases:— John Ferguspn Johnstone (All. Elwartli) against Zeinia Johnstone ; Doris Pearson against Millcs Pearson; Alfred Fdwud Allan Ald ridge (Mr 11. S rl) against Coral Alice Elsie AUlridge William Arthur Mason (Mr. Elwartli) against Florence Barbara Mason. HUSBANDS AND WIVES ORDERS TO RETURN Two restitution orders, one to a husband and one to a wife, were made by Mr. Justice, Keed in the Supreme Court yesterday. Jennie Isobol Margaret Cox (M .
