AUCTIONEERS' NOTE.—These cattle were all bred on the property by the vendor from original Taranaki stock. The herd has been milked 011 Mr. Stewart's property at Waimai and have done well with him there. There has never at any time been any kind of disease in his cattle which will come forward in good condition, 1110 cows calving in August and September. The heifers, which aro 2ear-olds, will calve in July, August and September, the majority being due in August. Mr. Stewart docs not run the bull with his heifers as yearlings. These cows and heifers, coming from high sheep country, will do exceptionally well in the Waikato. On account, of MR. L. C. PICOT, of Waimai, who is going out. of dairying, wo shall sell HIS WHOLE HERD OF 97 YOUNG JERSEY AND SHORTHORNL i CROSS DAIRY COWS.
