The Magic Match
TTERE is a sample trick that will mystify an audience. Push a safety pin through the centre of a safety match and hold the pin between the thumb and forefinger of each hand as shown in the illustration. Then tell your audience that the match is a magic one and that you will make it -pass right through the metal arm of the
safetv pin. To do the trick, flick the end of the match with the middle finger of the right hand. To the amazement of everyone—including yourself—the match will appear to travel right through the metal bar.
