Notice is hereby given that the Manukau County Council proposes to raise under the provisions of " The Counties Act, 1020," "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926,'" and all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling and subject to the precedent consent of the Governor-General-in-Council in terms of " The Local Government Loans Board Act, ID2G," a Special Loan of £12,500 for tho purpose of (a) Constructing and renewing Bridges and Culverts in Reinforced Concrete, £5250; (b) Widening, regrading, adjustments to culverts/ base course reconstruction and twocoat sealing of the Papakura-Clevcdon Main Highway, including the widths outside the Main Highway Limits in the Clevedon Township, £4750; and (c) Realigning, culverting, regrading and resurfacing North Road, £2500 (all in the Wairoa Riding of the County of Manukau): TOTAL, £12,500. The proposed security is a Special Annually Recurring Rate of Three-eighths of a Penny (%d) in the Pound (£) on the Rateable Value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all Rateable Property in the Wairoa Riding of the County of Manukau to cover interest, sinking fund and other charges on the said Loan payable over a period of twenty years or until the Loan is fully paid off, the said Loan being repayable at the end of a term not exceeding twenty years, with a sinking fund of Three Pounds Ton Shillings (£3/10/-) per centum per annum.
