LEAGUE OF MOTHERS
Henderson. —A talk on the meaning of the Bible was given to the Henderson branch last week by Mrs. Mitchell, of Bemuera. Mrs. Lemon gave tbe thought for the month. Hostesses for afternoon tea were Mrs. Ashton and Mrs. Hutchinson.
Belinont-Bayswater,—The BolmontBayswater branch of the league met recently, Mrs. W. Verran presiding. Six new members were enrolled. The thought for the month was presented by Mrs. J. Seagers and Mrs. Hutchins gave a talk on the lives of sailor boys. Competitions were won by Mrs. Glassey and Mrs. Buckley. Tea hostesses were Mesdames Jacobs, 1 Harper, Drew, Scott, Hawesworth and J. Harper.
