THE BOYS' BRIGADE
OFFICERS FOR THE YEAR The outstanding feature of the year's work of the Auckland battalion of the Boys' Brigade was the provision of a permanent camp sito through the generosity of Mr. F. T. Vaughan, stated the report presented at the annual meeting of the battalion. In the absence of the president, Mr. G. T. Paterson, the actingpresident, the Rev. M. A. Gow, presided. It was stated that the Dominion conference of the movement had been held in Auckland during the Labour Day week-end, the fellowship with the officers from other parts of the Dominion proving very helpful. The Life Boy Area account was in a sound position, due largely to the successful organising of a concert by the area council. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, the Rev. M. A. Gow; vice-president, Mr- G. T. Paterson; secretary-treasurer, Mr. R. C. J. Smith; Life Boy supervisor, Mr. R. Tonson; chairman of the camp committee, Mr. W. Blackburn; chairman of the examinations committee, Mr. Sims; inspecting officer. Mr. P. Taylor; additional executive members, M« \ssrs. J. T. Small bone and L. Honeycombe.
