INFANTILE PARALYSIS
AUCKLAND SUSPECTS CASES DECREASING RAPIDLY Two suspected cases of infantile paralysis were admitted to the Auckland Hospital between Thursday night and mid-day yesterday. One was a man, aged 43, from Kumeu, subsequently diagnosed as a negative case, and the other a two-years-old girl from Grey Lynn, a possible negative. Last night a nine-years-old girl from Ellerslie was admitted as a suspect. Dr. J. W. Craven, medical superintendent of the Auckland Hospital, stated last night that the number of positive cases was decreasing rapidly.
