TWO WOMEN INJURED
FALLS IN CITY STORES Two women were injured as a result of falls in city shops yesterday. A fracture of the right thigh was suffered by Mrs. A. J. Richmond, aged 64, of 7 Curran Street, Heme Bay, when she slipped as she was entering a shop about five o'clock last evening. The second victim, Mrs. N. Yolland, of Martin's Avenue, Mount Albert, fell down some stairs at another shop and fractured her arm. Both the injured women were attended by doctors before being conveyed to private hospitals in St. John ambulances. The condition of neither patient is serious.
