DEATH IN HOSPITAL

VICTIM OF MOTOR COLLISION Injured in an accident on the Great South lload on May 9, when the motor-car in which she was travelling came into head-on collision with a tramcar, .Mrs. Ivy Cavenett, aged 40, of 11 Ruskin Street, Parnell, died in the Auckland Hospital early yesterday morning. Deceased was one of four persons who were injured in the car, and she suffered severe head injuries. An inquest was opened yesterday by Mr. F. K. Hunt, coroner, and after formal evidence was taken, proceedings were adjourned sine die.
