May 18 The executive committee of the Federated .Motion Picture Crafts has asked the American Federation of Labour and the Committee for industrial 'Organisation to boycott cinemas, films in which appear Robert Montgomery, Frank Morgan, Franchot Tone, Humphrey Bogart and Edward Arnold, on the ground that they declined to recommend members of the Screen Actors' Guild to refuse to pass the strikers' picket lines.
