[BY TELKGHAPH-—OWN CORRESPONDENT ) OPOTIKI, Monday Following the remarks of the Transport Licensing Authority, Mr. E. J. Plielan, at the sitting last month, when he urged all licensed carriers to form an association, the carriers in the Opotiki district have now joined an association. At a general meeting the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. H. O. Drake: vice-president, Mr. A. W. Turner; executive committee, Messrs. J. bloan, F R. Skelton and A. Debreceny.
