WESTLAND FARMERS
TOUR OF THE WAIKATO [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday A cordial welcome was given to the touring representatives of the Westland Farmers' Union at a social given in their honour last evening by the Waikato executive of the Farmers' Union. The president, Mr. S. N. Ziman, expressed the hope that the visitors would find their stay enjoyable and instructive. Mr. J. Muicare replied on behalf of the touring party. A film illustrating the methods of pig farming and marketing adopted in the Waikato was shown, and a programme of musical items was submitted. The visitors were shown over several farms in the Waikato to-day, including the model farm of Dr. H. E. Annett, of Matangi, and were tlie guests of the Waikato Winter Show Association at the show. J
