TROOPS FROM ABYSSINIA ADDRESS BY IL DUCE ROME, May 9 Signor Mussolini to-day accompanied King Victor Emmanuel to a review of 40,000 troops who participated in the Abyssinian war. About 10,000 Eritrean •Askaris, Somaliland troops and Libyan cavalry and camel corps were included in the review. It is estimated that 500,000 people watched the parade. Signor Mussolini spoke from the Palazza di Venezia, and proclaimed Italy's mission of civilisation in Africa and her desire for world peace.
