POPPIES FOR OPIUM
DISCOVERY IN CROPS EGYPTIAN AIR FORCE CAIRO, May 9 When carrying out the Narcotics Bureau's latest methods of detection, Egyptian Air Force officers photographed wheat and maize fields revealing patches of opium poppies among tall crops, which could not be seen from the ground. The police rushed lorries to the scene and seized the illicit crops.
