A "BUNNY" TURBAN

WITH A MATCHING SCARF Here is an attractive little "bunny" turban with matching scarf which you can easily make yourself. Angora wool or velvet, in two pretty colours, would be a good choice. Deep caramel beige combined with black is new.

' Half a yard of material in each colour is needed, For the scarf cut off a piece from each measuring Bin. by 36in. and shape the ends by cutting off one corner. Line one piece with the other. Make a paper pattern for the cap following the diagrams and pin together to fit on. A and B are the sides and are shown in relation to a 6in. square. .The sides marked with a dotted lino are joined to the long sides of the strip measuring 12in. by 4in. Then the edges of the cap are turned under and faced with narrow Petersham ribbon.

The two top pieces in the diagram are the "ears." Cut out two in black and two in boigo, using one of each colour as a, lining. Join them together by the short sides with contrasting colours uppermost and cover tho join with a two-coloured strip drawing it into folds. Stitch tho curves round the front of the cap. An elastic across tho back will hold the cap (irmly on the head.
