BAY OF PLENTY AREA [BY TELEGRAPH OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHAKATANE, Monday The Minister of Marine, the Hon. P. Fraser, has advised Mr. A. G. Hultquist, M.P., that he has had prepared a draft Order-in-Council regulating the inshore fishing of trawlers in the Bay of Plenty. Under the proposed regulations' Danish seining and trawling will be prohibited within two miles from low-water mark of the area from Whangamata Harbour to Cape Runaway, and trawling, but not Danish seining, is to bo forbidden in the area inshore of a straight lino from Motiti Island to Karewha Island, and thence to Kati Kati Harbour, including Tauranga Harbour.
