Prisoner had been re- ; leased on the application of Mr. Aekins for reasons affecting another ■ man. ; Mr. Aekins informed His Honor yes- ' terday tbas he had seen the prisoner 1 only once, and then casually, since his ■ release on probation. Ho understood 'prisoner had not reported to the pro- ' bation officer, and so he cduld not take the matter any further. For the Crown, Mr. G. R. Meredith said prisoner was being looked for so that he could appear in another case, but detectives had been unable to find him. Mr. Meredith suggested that the best course would be for the police to bring prisoner up on a charge of breach of probation. The matter was adjourned until the appearance of prisoner.
