CARS FROM REMUERA

Sir, —In my opinion there is an urgent call for several Town Jlall cars to run from Meadowbank in the morning. At present the only train running via the Town Hall leaves Meadowbank about seven o'clock in the evening and is a boon to many pleasure-seekers. Js it not reasonable enough to request that the Remuera workers be catered for in a similar manner? At Newmarket some mornings one has the annoying experience of seeing the Town Hall car in front go sailing off just as the Remuera tram pulls up at the zone. Often on such occasions there is quite a lengthy and inconvenient wait for another car to cojne through. May 1 suggest, therefore, that two Town Hall trams be run from Meadowbank in the morning—one to reach the city at 8.30 and the other at 9. Business Girl.
