BAY OF ISLANDS CLUB [by TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] KAIKOHE, Friday Largo entries and strong competition marked the Bay of Islands Sheep Dog Trial Club's annual two-day fixture, concluded at Ohaeawai yesterday. Results are as follows: — Long Head. —<T. Houston's Moss, 44 points, 1; J. E. Whito's Mack, 43 points, 2; P. G. L. Mackenzie's Moss. 42% points, 3; J. E. White's Sharp, 41 points, 4., Short Head.—E. H. Sloano s Glen, 52 points, 1; A. Ariel's Toss, 50/ 3 points, J. E wliite's Pat, 40 points, 3; J. E. Whites Mack, 48'/ 2 points, 4. Iluntaway.—W. A. Cumming's entry, 1 and 3; E. H. Sloano's entry, 2. The special event, carrying as a prize the Fletcher Memorial Shield, m which the six dogs scoring the highest points in both heading events competed, was won by G. Whites McCreadv. while J. E. Whito's Mack earned off the Shepherd's Crook for the dog scorinß the highest points in both heading events. The cup for the maiden competition,, under 05 years of ase, scoring the most points in the short head event, was won by 8. Newm*At. the annual meeting of the club the following officers wcro elected: —Patron, Mr. A. Faithful; president. Mr. A. C. Kingston; vicepresidents, Messrs. If. H. Mountain, C. Ludhrook, E. Smith.
