TRAFFIC BRIDGE REPAIRS

WORK AT HAMILTON DELAYED [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday Although the opening of the Fairfield Bridge lias made it possible to close the traffic bridge at Hamilton for repairs, work on the latter bridge is beina held up through lack of steel. Part of the steel required is at present on board ship but work will not be started until all the material necessary has arrived.

It will be several weeks yet before repairs are commenced and the bridjie will then be closed for about a month.
