MATUA FOR ISLANDS The, Union Company's Island motor-ship Matua left Auckland last night for Nukualofa, Vavau, Apia and Suva. She will return to Auckland on May lit. AW ATE A F ROM SYDNEY The Awafea will leave Sydney for Auckland to-night. She is due here early on Monday afternoon and she will sail on her return to Sydney at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. FRENCH SLOOP TO SAIL The French naval sloop Rigault de Genouilly, which is at Western Wharf, is to sail early this morning for Tonga. She arrhed here fnm Noumea on April 2G. COPTIC LEAVES TO-MORROW Loading for London at Queen's Wharf, the Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Coptic is to sail to-morrow for Wellington. She will complete her cargo at Lyttelton and will leave there for London on May 14. WELLINGTON-PICTON SERVICE The Union Company advises that the departure of the Tamahine from Wellington for Picton on Wednesday, Coronation Day, has been postponed until midnight. DELAYED BY RAIN The loading of the coastal motor-vessel Port "Waikato was delayed by rain yesterday and she is to sail for Wellington and Southern ports this afternoon. She is at Queen's Wharf. NAKBADA THIS MORNING With careo from Calcutta and Eastern ports, the Union Company's chartered steamer Narbada is due at Auckland this morning. She will berth at Prince's "Wharf and after discharge she will go to Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. TAMAROA CLEARS BALBOA Clearing Balboa at midnight on Tuesday, the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa is due at Auckland on May '2l. She left •London on April 19 and included in the passensreis is the English Association football team. TANKERS EXPECTED Two tankers are due at Auckland with hulk petrol toward the end of the month. The Shell Company's vessel Alcides, which was to have sailed from Balikpapan about May 3, is due here on May 23. The tanker G. S. Walden, with fuel for the Vacuum Company, is to leave Palembang on Sunday for Auckland and she should reach here about May 28. VESSELS LEAVE ONEHUNGA The fou* coastal vessels. Hokianga, Ronaki, Kaitoa and Waimea, which have been unable to cross the Manukau Bar during the past few days, sailed yesterday afternoon. They left the Onehunga wharf about mid-day and crossed the bar shortly before high water last evenin' THE NORTHERN COMPANY The Northern Company advises that the Ronaki, which left Onehunga for Raglan and Kawhia last evening, will return to Onehunga and sail from there for Hokianga on Monday. The Otimai and the Waiotahi, which were both delayed at Opotiki owing to bad weather, are due here this afternoon. THE MAETSUYCKER Navigation Company's South Pacific passenger and cargo service, the motor-ship Maetsuycker is due here on Monday. On her maiden voyage, ihe Maetsuycker is from Saigon, Singapore, Batavia, Saniarang, Souraba.va, Port Moresby, Samarai, Rabaul, Port Vila and Noumea. She will go from here to Wellington and Sydney.
