BLOMFI ELD AT HAMILTON KICKED MEAD OUT OF RING [by tklegraph—OWN cokkkspondknt] HAMILTON, Thursday A professional heavy-weight wrestling contest between "Lofty" Blomfielcl, 16st. 101b., and Tommy Mead, lost. 51b., in Hamilton this evening ended suddenly in the seventh round, in which Blomfield was disqualified after kicking his opponent out of the ring. Mead fell heavily on the boards below the level of the stage and had to be assisted away. Blomfield was hooted by the cro r wd. The first fall occurred in the second round when, following a series of Hying tackles, Blomfield pinned Mead with a body press. Mead evened the falls in the sixth round, in which Blomfield submitted to an Indian deathlock. Mead was awarded the decision in the seventh round when Blomfield leaped and kicked him down as he was returning to the ring. FORSGREN AND KIRILINKO DRAW AT PALMERSTON NORTH [BY TELEGItAPH —ritESS ASSOCIATION] PALMERSTON NORTH, Thursday Before a very good house, Jack Forsgren and Matros Kirilinko opened the Palmerston North wrestling season this evening. A most entertaining bout ended in a draw, each securing a fall, the Russian with a bodypress following a succession of headlocks and a dump in the fifth round, and the Canadian with a Boston crab early in the seventh round.
