BULLET THROUGH FACE CONDITION NOT SERIOUS [by telegraph—owx correspondent] PALMERSTON NORTH, Monday A miraculous escape from death was experienced by Mr. B. R. Gardiner, of Eketahuna, while out shooting. A bullet passed right through his face, coming out near the ear, when a rifle was accidentally discharged. Mr. Gardiner was subsequently admitted to the Pahiatua Hospital. His condition is reported to be not serious.
