Walsh (Democrnt —-Mas sachu setts) Peking to provide for the building of six auxiliary naval vessels during the year at a cost, of 48,000.000 dollars ' (about £9,600,000k i'lic vessels would lie a seaplancttirrying destroyer, submarine tenders, minesweeper, fleet tug and oi! ship. This 'would be part of an auxiliary programme ultimately to cost about £•35,000,000. ilr. }■:. Johnson (Democrat — Colorado) introduced a bill to provide the i\eot with 10.000 aeroplanes, also Army, Navy and -Marine reserve units, find for the gradual training ol 100,000 regular and reserve airmen.
