AWARD DEMANDS DISCUSSED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRBSS^association] WELLINGTON, Tuesday No agreement on major questions was reached to-day in the dispute between the New Zealand Federated Shop Assistants' Industrial Association of Workers and the Chemists' Service Guild of New Zealand, and other employers. The hearing is expected to occupy three days. - f|| It was agreed to divide unregistered assistants into two classes, Qualified and unqualified, so that a student could work as a qualified assistant until efficient in the shop, when he could register and claim the wage of a registered assistant.
