DISAPPOINTED BOXER
A very disappointed and disgruntled man who sailed in the Queen Mary from New York for London on March 24 was Max Sehmoling. Some weeks earlier, when he set off for the United States, he was confident the match that had been made for him with Braddock for the world's title would take place in June, and that he could occupy the time between with n profitable barnstorming tour of some of the major United States cities. Ho stepped aboard the liner with his tour cancelled, and no prospect of facing Braddock on the date appointed.
