HOMEWARD FLIGHT
PROGRESS OF CLIPPER ARRIVAL AT HONOLULU (Received April 11, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK. April 10 In a copyright message to the North American Newspaper Alliance, Captain Edwin Musick, commander of the New Zealand survey Clipper, says: "We are again aloft on the next to last leg of our return flight. We alighted at Kingman Reef last night and took off again at dawn. "It is increasingly apparent that the route laid out is within easy, efficient and safe encompassing by modern aircraft." The Clipper arived at Honolulu on Saturday afternoon (New Zealand time), according to wireless advice received during the week-end by the staff at the temporary headquarters of PanAmerican Airways in Auckland. No detailed reports of the Clipper's progress were received, as the flving-boat was under the control of the Pan-American operations base at Alameda, California, after leaving Kingman Reef.
