GENEVA CONFERENCE
MR. ANDERSON FAREWELLED The presentation of a travelling trunk was made to Mr. W, E. Anderson, secretary of the Auckland Employers' Association, and Mrs. Anderson at a meeting of the finance committee of the association yesterday. Mr. Anderson is going to Geneva to attend the International Labour Conference. In making the presentation on behalf of the executive committee, the president, Mr. J. S. Dawes, wished Mr. and Mrs. Anderson a pleasant voyage. He said Mr. Anderson was exceptionally qualified to represent the considered opinion of employers on the various industrial matters which wculd be ventilated at the conference. Messrs. J. C. Entrican and C. W. Coles, vicepresidents, and Mr. J. Lowe endorsed the president's remarks. In reply, Mr. Anderson said he hoped to gain some experience of industrial conditions in other parts of the world which would be useful to the Auckland Employers' Association.
