WOMEN'S DIVISION
Ardmore. —A meeting held recently took the form of a visitors' day. Mrs. L. Wood presided. Musical items were rendered by Mesdanies Clayton and Johnston and Miss E. St. Paul. Jhe winners of competitions were Mesdanies Johnston, 11. Burnside, McDonald, Stokes and Miss Edna Morris; in a display of flowers the winner was Mrs. Stokes: apple jelly, Mrs. Johnston. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdanies Wrigg and G. Burnside. Brookby.—The president, Mrs. Kimpton presided. Arrangements were made for'a children's party. The points competition for songs caused much amusement. and resulted in a draw bctv.eeiP .Mesdanies Logan and Korebs. .Mesdanies Hill and Preston, of East Tamaki, gave an exhibition of handcraft work. Afternoon tea was served.
