REGENT THEATRE
Once again one of the "Gold Digger" scries comes to the screen in "Gold Diggers of 1!W7," now showing at the Regent Theatre. The story, set around the fortunes of a theatrical producer, lends itself admirably to the introduction of many new songs and dances. Dick Powell has the leading role and his abilities are taken full advantage of. He is ably supported by such proved players as Glemla Farrell, Joan Jllon-<it-li, Victor Moore and Charlie Sylber. The new tunes should prove as popular as those in the previqus films. A fine selection of shorter films completes the programme,' '
