FATAL INJURIES
MOTOR-CYCLIST KILLED COLLISION WITH A CAR ACCIDENT AT A CORNER [llY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Sunday Fatal injuries were received by Neville Lewis Sharpin, a motor mechanic, aged 19, when a motor-cycle he was riding collided with a motor-car in Awa Street, Miramar, early this evening. Sharpin, who lived with his parents at 57 Darlington I'oad, .Miramar, received a compound fracture of the skull and fractured right leg. The accident occurred at a bend in the road, which has a fairly steep grade. Sharpin is thought to have been testing his machine. lie was seen driving up the lull and he was 011 the downward journey when he crashed into an approaching car. He was employed by the l'ost and telegraph Department.
