Hewitt, S.M., in a case in which Kenneth William Alexander Nicholson, a sharemilker, of Mnngatara, was charged with the theft of five cows belonging to a neighbour, Edwin Armstrong. Detective-Sergeant Thompson;' of Hamilton, prosecuted. Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial, bail being allowed in self £2OO and one surety of £2OO.
