ERADICATION OF RAGWORT [FROM OUR owx correspondent] HAMILTON, Thursday Eight gangs of men are occupied with the eradication of ragwort in v . nglan, according to a report presented at yesterday's meeting of the County Council. Over 50 men were employed on the task and over 40 tons of sodium chlorate had been distributed. Rates collected to dato equalled 8U per cent, it was stated, which is 20 per cent better than last year.Of the ar< rears outstanding at March 31, -iswo* 62 per cent had been collected. -
