Mr. H. S. X. Robinson, of Sydney, general secretary of the Melanesian Mis-" sion, will arrive at Auckland by the Mariposa on April 1 to arrange an itinerary for the mission ship Southern Cross VII., which is expected about that date.

Sir John Lamb, a former Under-Sec-retary for Scotland for seven years, will arrive at "Wellington on March 30 by the Awatea from Sydney. Accompanied by' his niece, Miss M. D. Stewart, Sir.John intends to make a tour of both islands before leaving on May 6 by the Rangitane for England.
