BIG-GAME FISHING

LADY ANGLER'S SUCCESS Remarkable success has attended biggame fishermen this season. Last season 116 fish were caught from Otehei Bay camp, while the total for the present season, with six weeks to go, is 144. From her own camp, established in Wai-iti Bay, on the Big Cavalli Island, and fishing from the launch Alma G. 11., Mrs. H. M. Ashley Dodd, of England, • has landed three makos, including one of 2581b. and one of 2521b. Ten striped marlin. the largest weighing 3121b., also have been caught. Included iii Mrs. Dodd's total of striped marlin are two double strikes, both of which were landed, being the only ones successfully handled this season.
